Before I came to Ado Girls', I was just another quiet girl who thought she was not smart enough. Three years later, I am the head girl of this school. Something about this place refuses to let you stay small.

Building the Girl-Child – Body, Soul, Spirit, One Girl at a time…
We train students with outstanding academic performance both at the local and international scenes
We have qualified and NTI accredited educators across all subjects we offer
Our ICT Lab has state of the art facilities fit for modern learning experiences
At Ado Girls’ Secondary School, every girl who walks through our doors carries within her the seeds of greatness.
Our commitment is simple, to nurture her potential, strengthen her character, and equip her with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in a changing world.
Together, we create a safe, stimulating environment where she is seen, celebrated, and challenged to become her very best.

Founded since 1985, Ado Girls Secondary School is a premier educational institution located in the heart of Onitsha, Anambra State. We have been at the forefront of providing quality education to young women, preparing them for academic excellence and leadership roles in society.
Empowering young women through quality education, moral character, and leadership training to promote academic excellence since 1985.
Raising responsible, God-fearing women who stand out and act as a model of educational excellence and leadership.

School is not just a place you go to pass exams. At Ado Girls', it is where a young woman begins to discover who she really is through friendships, responsibilities, and the quiet lessons that no textbook will ever teach her.
There is a part of every girl that a classroom alone cannot reach. Our clubs and creative activities exist for exactly that to pull out what is already inside her and give it a stage.
Discipline built on a field transfers to every other area of life. Our girls compete, sweat, and push their limits because we know that the woman who learns to finish a race will not quit when life gets hard either.

My mum cried on my first day because she did not want to leave me. By the end of that first week, I was the one telling her I was fine. That is what Ado Girls' does, it makes you feel at home faster than you expect.

The teachers here are different. They actually stop to make sure you understand before they move on. I have never felt stupid for asking a question in this school, not even once.

I joined the debate club not knowing what I was doing. Today I have represented this school twice at state level. I did not find my voice anywhere else, I found it here.
